Epilepsy Friendly Award

Our Epilepsy Friendly Award (EFA) recognises businesses and organisations that have made adjustments to ensure that they are as accessible to people with epilepsy and have trained their staff to respond appropriately to seizures.

Epilepsy for teachers course

This course is designed to help teachers better support their student with epilepsy. You will leave this course with a good understanding of the condition, an ability to recognise a seizure, respond appropriately, and improve learning outcomes for the student with epilepsy.

School's awareness workshop

We have been visiting schools across the country to raise awareness of epilepsy with children of all ages. Teaching children and young people about epilepsy can help normalise the condition. This can help reduce feelings of stigma and isolation.

The assembly talk is aimed at pupils of all ages at primary school to raise awareness of epilepsy, reduce stigma and highlight how they can help someone with epilepsy.

Epilepsy awareness talks

This awareness talk provides a brief introduction to epilepsy.The talk will include video footage of different seizure types demonstrating how subtle some seizures can be.Attending one of these talks will help you develop the skills to react sensitively and effectively if someone has a seizure.
