Christmas bauble

Epilepsy Scotland Christmas Appeal

The diagnosis of epilepsy can and does touch many areas of someone’s life. Whether it is retaining or accessing employment, the freedom to drive, general independence, education, career choices, or relationships.

The services we offer are focused on the person, improving their mental, emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing.

The theme for this year’s Christmas Appeal is #BecauseofEpilepsyScotland and we are reaching out to ask supporters to consider donating £3 a month to help support Epilepsy Scotland’s services for the future.

What people say:

“Because of the information provided by Epilepsy Scotland my friends knew how to look after me when I had a serious seizure.”

“Because of Epilepsy Scotland’s Welfare Rights Service, my son is independent and can live in his own house. This makes such a big difference to his mental health.”

“Because of Epilepsy Scotland’s Wellbeing service my mood has improved, and I’ve noticed a reduction in my seizure activity.”

“Because of Epilepsy Scotland’s Youth Group and the support received it’s the first time she’s been happy to talk about her epilepsy and that’s a massive positive step forward.”

The cost-of-living crisis is disproportionately affecting people living with long-term health conditions like epilepsy, so your support is needed and appreciated even more now.

We know times are difficult just now but any donation, big or small, will make a huge difference.

We want this to be our biggest Christmas appeal ever and we need your support to help us continue to be there for people who need us most.

Just £3 a month makes a huge difference. With your support and generosity Epilepsy Scotland can continue to provide information, support, and guidance for the 55,000 people living with epilepsy in Scotland.
