For all our friends in south west Scotland: the Kiltwalk is coming to you! Dumfries is the latest venue for this event which has already attracted thousands of walkers in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee and Edinburgh. Taking place on Saturday November 9, it’s a straightforward 6-mile circuit, starting and finishing at Dock Park, and offering a stroll along the River Nith for a good part of the route.
The Kiltwalk offers more than just a good workout – for everyone fundraising for their favourite charity, the Hunter Foundation adds an additional 40% to their total – so £100 becomes £140, £200 becomes £280 etc. It’s a great way to show your support! We’ll even give you a t-shirt to wear on the day!
For Epilepsy Scotland supporters there is another incentive: #Challenge65, which is making the most of the 65th anniversary of Epilepsy Scotland. 11 people walking 6 miles each would take us to 66 miles, neatly beating the target. So, sign up with a friend or two, and let’s go for it!
