Epilepsy Scotland’s National Conference

Following the success of our last conference in Edinburgh, we have decided to host an event in Glasgow, Saturday 2 November. The conference will focus on individualised methods to treating and managing epilepsy.

Topics will include;

Scotland’s most experienced clinical epilepsy specialists will join us. This will be a chance to learn more about epilepsy, specifically how the condition and treatments affect individuals differently.

On the day we will also have workshops for guests to engage with. Our Welfare Rights Officers will run a financial advice workshop. Both are incredibly experienced in the benefits system.

Additionally, our Wellbeing team will run a living well with epilepsy workshop. Finally, there will be a select number of places for a carers relaxation workshop.

This workshop will provide a space for carers to be open about their experiences and also learn some relaxation techniques from an ex-Buddhist monk who has several years of experience in meditation and relaxation.

The event is FREE – yes free! – and will take place at The Studio, 67 Hope Street, Glasgow. Also, on arrival, coffee/tea and pastries will be available and a hot buffet lunch will be served.
