Michael Sturrock is a political strategist, campaigner, and policy specialist. Currently, he is head of communications and outreach in the political and parliamentary office of a Cabinet Secretary.

Previously, he was head of public affairs for a trade body in the data and tech sphere, representing businesses in the EU, UK, and Scottish Parliaments on issues such as data privacy, AI, international trade, Brexit, and beyond.

Michael developed epilepsy in his late teens and is passionate about spreading understanding and tackling stigma. He lives in Edinburgh with his husband and is similarly motivated campaigning for equality for LGBTQ+ and other marginalised communities.
