Epilepsy Scotland - Welfare Rights Adviser   

Salary:  £26,000 (pro rata 28 hours)
Location: Glasgow

This new post expands Epilepsy Scotland’s information and support services.  The Welfare Rights Adviser will work closely with our established Contact Team who already offer a wide range of information and support to people affected by epilepsy through our website, social media and Freephone helpline.  Based in our head office in Glasgow, the Welfare Rights Adviser will provide information, advice and practical assistance regarding welfare benefits.  They will also contribute to our policy work related to welfare benefits in Scotland.  Funded for the first fifteen months by the Scottish Government, this post is expected in the longer term to become a key part of our services to people affected by epilepsy in Scotland.

Epilepsy Scotland Lighthouse Services

Lighthouse Support Services provide person centred care and support to people with a range of disabilities within their own homes and in the community.  

We have the following vacancies in our Lighthouse Services: 

 

Team Leader, Edinburgh £19,292 (35 hours)

We are looking for a person to assist co-ordination of our support service in Edinburgh.  The role will involve a combination of report writing, record keeping and care planning as well as providing direct support to service users. We are interested in hearing from people who think they have the necessary value base and skills to be an effective Team Leader. 

 

Lighthouse Support Workers

Edinburgh, Glasgow and Helensburgh

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who have an understanding of the skills involved in individual support work.  We are interested in hearing from people who think they have the necessary value base and skills to be an effective Support Worker:

Glasgow

1 x Support Worker - 17.5 hours per week, £8.36 per hour.

Edinburgh

1 x Support Worker - 17.5 hours per week, £8.36 per hour.

Helensburgh

1 x Support Worker - £15,215 (30 hours pro-rata) 

1 x sessional support worker - £8.36 per hour.
