Accredited and bespoke training about epilepsy

We provide courses to raise awareness and ensure better care for people living with epilepsy, including primary care professionals. Our training is aimed at anyone who has an interest in epilepsy.

We also offer a bespoke training service aimed at meeting the needs of individual organisations.

The topics we cover include:

• Epilepsy - prevalence, incidence, diagnosis and classification of seizures
• Treatment of epilepsy - medication, surgical and alternative treatments
• Living with epilepsy - Disability equality, quality of life issues, information and advice
• Organisational policy design
• Specific group needs - women, older people, newly diagnosed

Our Trainers

Our training team has a wide range of expertise. All have professional qualifications and keep up to date with best practice in the management of epilepsy care.

Training on the administration of rescue medication is provided to a nationally recognised standard by medically qualified staff and accredited trainers.
