The whole team at Starbucks in Village – The Hotel Club have been very supportive of us and made us their charity partner of the year. To date the whole team have been raising funds for us since they opened in the summer by participating in adrenaline events, asking customers to donate their change and helping us raise awareness of epilepsy in Scotland. We just want to say a massive thank you.
At the beginning of December 29 Studios got in touch asking to help us raise funds and awareness of epilepsy as they recently had a new recruit who spoke to them about his struggle with epilepsy since he was young. 29 Studios, with our fundraising team, helped organise our most unique event ever. A panel of world renowned experts took questions by people from all over the world as it was streamed live via the social media platform Periscope. Hosted by TV presenter Carol Smillie, people watched from 7 different countries and our hashtag #seizeyourhour appeared on an incredible 1.2 million social media timelines around the world. Thanks to the whole team at 29 Studios!
