Great Scottish Run - 1 and 2 October 2016

Would you like to be a part of the biggest running events in Glasgow?

2016 is shaping up to be their best year yet so make sure you don’t miss out.  There is something for everyone over the weekend from a Family Fun Run to a Half Marathon.  You can be guaranteed support all the way to the finish line from the thousands of supporters lining the streets cheering you on!  Why not get friends or colleagues involved too?  A great way to get fit, raise funds and have fun!

If this sounds like the event for you, please get in touch with Kerry today at or call us on 0141 427 4911.

Get Creative

Decisions, decisions?  If you're not sure which event to go for, or maybe the dates just don't suit you - why not create your own event?  Together with a team of family and friends you may decide to have a sponsored walk around your local park, cycle along the Clyde Canal or hike the West Highland Way.

Maybe you would like to create your own event in memory of a loved one?  That's what family and friends of Jamie Drysdale did - a large group set up a football tournament which is now an annual event that the whole community look forward to.

From Pedal for Scotland to cycling John O’Groats to Lands’ end there are many different cycling events and challenges in Scotland, around the UK or even abroad.  Why not hop on your bike and enjoy the great outdoors.

Last year we had a trio of supporters took part in the Edinburgh night ride where they cycled the 50km from Leith or the beach at Portobello and back, all in the dead of night.

Supporting you

When you sign up to our event we make sure you understand how your sweat, blisters and training make a difference to those living with epilepsy in Scotland. We will provide you with sponsor forms, tell you how Gift Aid works, guide you through online giving, help with publicity and offer fundraising support.  We'll acknowledge your fundraising efforts after your challenge - we'll write to you and send you a certificate to show our appreciation.

We would love you to represent Epilepsy Scotland, and help to ensure that the 54,000 people in Scotland living with epilepsy have access to the medical, social and information services they need!
