Epilepsy Scotland and Enlighten Merge
Prior to the merger of Enlighten – Tackling Epilepsy with Epilepsy Scotland, both organisations had separate training departments. The training packages conformed to the guidelines of the Joint Epilepsy Council (JEC) of the Uk and Ireland but the structure and format differed.
We are now working towards standardising training courses offered from our Glasgow and Edinburgh sites, combining the best from each. During this period of transition, customers can continue to receive training in the format and structure with which they are familiar.

Epilepsy Scotland Training

Our Trainers
The training team has a wide range of expertise. All have professional qualifications and keep up to date with best practice in the management of epilepsy care.
Training on the administration of rescue medication is provided to a nationally recognised standard by practising medical staff and accredited trainers with a nursing background.
