Language Line
We are pleased to report that our freephone telephone Helpline service (0808 800 2200) can now be accessed in over 200 different languages. Three way calls can be set up between the Helpline advisor, the caller and an interpreter in the required language. This will allow more people than ever to access the epilepsy information and support they need.
To access the Helpline in another language:
- Call 0808 800 2200
- Request the language you want to speak in, eg Polish.
- Our Helpline advisor will take your name and telephone number and check a suitable time to call you back.
- Next you will receive a call from a Language Line advisor who can speak your language.
- He or she will introduce themselves. Through this translator, your question(s) are passed to the Helpline advisor who is waiting on the line. This new service means you can get the information you need in a language you understand .
