Scotland Wide Free Bus Pass

Aged 60 or over

To apply for free bus travel in Scotland if you are over 60 you need:

  • Free bus pass application form (LS304) for people aged 60 or over. You can pick up form LS304 from your nearest Post Office.
  • Proof of age - Acceptable documents include: birth certificate, driving licence, passport, letter from residential care home.
  • Proof of address acceptable documents include: council tax bill (current financial year), utility bill e.g. gas, electricity, landline telephone (within last 3 months), bank statement (within last 3 months), TV licence, letter from residential care home, letter from home office or immigration office or letter from local authority confirming that you stay in the council area.
  • 1 passport photograph (taken within the last year) Print your name and application reference number on the back of the photograph.
