Promote Change

Epilepsy Scotland want to make sure that the needs of people with epilepsy are met. This is why we promote changes in policies affecting your health, education, employment and well being.

We work closely with local health boards through Managed Clinical Networks (MCNs) for epilepsy to improve local services. We inform MPs and MSPs so they can raise questions in both parliaments about issues that concern you. Epilepsy has been the largest Cross-Party Group in the Scottish Parliament since 2000. We are also members of the UK and Ireland’s Joint Epilepsy Council (JEC) and the International Bureau for Epilepsy (IBE).

Are you a model employer when it comes to epilepsy? If you follow current disability guidelines you are! We want to recognise every organisation in Scotland whose practices and procedures support people with epilepsy in the work place.
