Policy Work
Epilepsy Scotland campaign and lobby to ensure that epilepsy is at the top of the Scottish Government's health agenda. In this section you can find out how our Policy and Development team work to influence public policy to ensure that services for people with epilepsy are given the recognition and resources that they deserve.
Policy is important. It is from policy that legislation and practices change at government level. This informs and changes service delivery and can have important implications for people affected by epilepsy.
We work with many different organisations and agencies to develop better epilepsy services including early and expert diagnosis, the implementation of agreed standards of care and the integration of health and social care services across Scotland.
