Parliamentary Work

Party Conferences

As Scotland’s national charity for epilepsy we campaign and lobby at party political level to raise awareness of epilepsy and to improve services for people affected by epilepsy.

As part of this we regularly attend party conferences and are on hand to speak to politicians and delegates about the work that we do and about what we see are the key issues for improving epilepsy services across Scotland.

As well as this we market our vital Helpline and information services to politicians so that they can then pass on relevant information to their constituents.

This year, in partnership with the Long Term Conditions Alliance for Scotland (LTCAS), we attended the following party conferences:

The Scottish Liberal Democrat Party: Aviemore, Friday 29 February

The Scottish Labour Party: Aviemore, Friday 28 March
