Want to know more about epilepsy?

Do you want to know more about epilepsy?  You can find out more when you pop into East Kilbride Shopping Centre anytime between 12.30 – 4.30pm on Thursday 27 March.  There’s free information, advice and Epilepsy Scotland’s Helpline staff will answer your questions.  We can tell you about the support and training our national charity provides for 40,000 Scots with epilepsy.

User Involvement Officer Dave Budd is encouraging people living in and around East Kilbride to come and talk about the care they receive.  It’s also a chance to find out about Epilepsy Scotland’s activities.  He said: “This information event lets people share their experiences of what’s needed for Lanarkshire.  We want you to tell us what we can do to help and also discuss what changes you would like to see.”

Local charity Epilepsy Connections will also be there to talk about epilepsy services they provide for families living this common serious neurological condition. This information session is part of a rolling programme of public awareness-raising events across the country.  There’s no limit to the number of friends, family and carers you can bring along!
