Working with epilepsy?

If you want to know more about epilepsy and employment then come and see Epilepsy Scotland’s information market place.  It will be held in the Dewars Conference Centre, Glover Street, Perth.  On Saturday 6 October, from 2pm to 3pm there will be free information and advice available in the Gannochy Suite.  Epilepsy Scotland’s trained staff will be there to answer questions and highlight the range of support provided by the national charity.  Local support group Family Action for Children with Epilepsy will also be there to give advice on the day.

User Involvement Officer Dave Budd is encouraging people living in and around Perth to come and talk about their employment experiences and to find out about Epilepsy Scotland’s activities.  He said: “People don’t like talking about epilepsy.  That’s why events like this are so important it offers people the chance to share their experiences.  We want people to tell us what we can do to help.  We also want to hear people’s views about local services and discuss other changes they would like to see.”

Provost John Hulbert and local MSPs Keith Brown and Richard Simpson will also be attending the event.
