Information Event in Galashiels, 26 March 2010
Did you know that nearly 750 people live with epilepsy in the NHS Borders area? Come along and find out more at Epilepsy Scotland’s next information event on Friday, 26 March, from 11am-2pm in the Borders College, Borders Campus, Nether Road, Galashiels. A short awareness talk will run twice between 12-1pm giving the key facts about this common neurological condition.
Staff will share details about the range of services offered by the national charity including a freephone helpline, website, information, leaflets and one-to-one support. Training courses are available in understanding and managing epilepsy while public awareness campaigns highlight a post code lottery in epilepsy care.
