Make a regular gift

Make a regular gift to a cause close to you heart

Did you know one of the best ways to support the work of Epilepsy Scotland is by setting up a regular gift? Regular donations allow us to anticipate our future income. This means we can plan ahead knowing our current services are secure and also develop new services.

Your regular donation can be as little or as much as you like. We are grateful for any amount you can give.

How can I donate?

Set up your regular gift on-line via our Standing Order Form or if you prefer call us on 0141 427 4911 and ask for the fundraising department.

If you already make a regular donation and wish to increase the amount, please also contact fundraising.

Gift Aid it! Making your gift go further

Don't forget you can make your gift work harder at no extra cost to you by ticking the Gift Aid declaration box on the standing order form

If you make a regular monthly donation of £5 a month i.e. £60 a year under Gift Aid, we will be able to reclaim £15 over the year. So you can see how quickly Gift Aid mounts up.

For an explanation on how Gift Aid works go to our Gift Aid it! page.

How your monthly gift helps

£20 will produce 150 'I have epilepsy cards'

£20 will allow Epilepsy Scotland to provide 150 people living with epilepsy with a small ‘I have epilepsy card’. This can be kept inside a wallet or purse for use in an emergency.

£35.00 funds 1 hour access to our freephone helpline

Our helpline service is a lifeline for those seeking help. Our professional helpline officers provide guidance, information and support on a variety of topics ranging from obtaining a free bus pass to calls surrounding depression and even thoughts of suicide.

£35 will fund one hour access to our free helpline service 0808 800 2200.

Our Lighthouse Youth Project provides vital support for young people living with epilepsy and epilepsy combined with a range of needs and abilities.

£55.50 will give one young person the chance to undertake a number of fun and challenging activity sessions and workshops helping them to understand and manage their condition more effectively.

£200 funds advertising for our Information Events

We regularly hold public information events all over Scotland. Access to services and information particularly in rural areas can be limited so our road shows are a welcome source of information.

Staff are on hand at these events to give face to face support and information.

£200 will help us contact interested parties and the general public and publicise our events in advance.

If you have any questions regarding setting up a regular gift or Gift Aid, please contact the fundraising department on 0141 427 4911 or email fundraising@epilepsyscotland.org.uk
