Dear Patient,
Re: A reminder on how to take Epanutin Infatabs 50mg Chewable Tablets (phenytoin)
The current instructions on the Patient Information Leaflet provided with your medicine states ‘Chew the Infatabs or swallow them whole with plenty of water’.
Pfizer would like to ask you to disregard this statement and instruct you instead to: CHEW YOUR TABLET BEFORE SWALLOWING.
Your pharmacist will discuss these instructions with you when you receive your medicine and if you have any further questions on how to take this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
