Glasgow Wag of Wags Dinner

The Epilepsy Scotland Glasgow Wags dinner, now entering its 12th year, is a well established black tie dinner which mixes good food and excellent company with sparkling wit and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people with epilepsy.
As in our previous dinners our five speakers will have 10 minutes each to woo the audience with their unique style of humour. Following this hilarious entertainment the audience then votes for their own favourite “Wag” to win. This is a very special year as it is our “Wag of Wags” dinner, where each speaker is a winner from the previous five years. They have each been voted one of Scotland’s funniest storytellers!
Our chairperson for the evening is Dougie Vipond . Our speakers will be 2008 winner Bert Thomson, 2007 winner Sandy Strang, 2006 winner Hugh Brown, 2005 Winner Bruce Fummey and 2004 winner Brian Donald. Without a doubt another great selection of witty and entertaining after dinner speakers.
The evening will begin with a Sparkling Wine Reception and some special prize-winning games for our guests, followed by a delicious four course meal. Each of our superb speakers will then compete to entertain you with their unique style of humour and persuade you to cast your vote in their direction.There will also be opportunities to win some outstanding items in our auction and a star prize in our luxury prize draw and our ever popular tombola.
Tickets are priced at £80 per head or £800 for a table of 10.
